Christmas Cookie Bars

What you need:

• 2 cups all purpose flour

• 2 cups light brown sugar

• 1/2 cup room temperature butter

• 2 eggs

• 1 tsp baking powder

• 1/2 tsp salt

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• 1 cup Christmas m&ms

• 1/2 cup Christmas sprinkles

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper.

2. In a bowl combine flour, salt, baking powder and set aside.

3. Cream butter and sugar until crumbly. Add eggs and combine.

4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the bowl and mix until just combined.

5. Evenly press the dough into pan. If the dough sticks to hands, dust with small amount of flour.

6. Sprinkle m&ms and sprinkles onto the dough.

7. Bake for 20-23 minutes.

8. Cool and cut into square bars.
