Soft and chewy cookies!

Every holiday season I make a batch of M & M cookies. They're soft, chewy and always festive.

These cookies are super easy to prepare! You really can't go wrong, but here are some tips for success. First, make sure all of your ingredients are at room temperature. If your butter is too soft it will cause your cookies to spread. You'll want to refrigerate the dough for at least an hour for the flavors to develop. You can scoop and freeze the dough for up to 3 months.

For even baking, use a cookie scoop to measure your dough. Before baking, add extra candy to the top of the cookie. After you remove these from the oven, use a round cookie cutter to shape them into perfect circles.
